Since falling on his face over there in front of Pixar headquarters, he’s become an award-winning brand creative leader with global experience on iconic brands such as Fisher-Price, Chrysler, Dodge, KFC, Instagram, Hotelsdotcom, Vrbo, TurboTax, YouTube, and many others.

Who knew his failed animation skills could enable him to make some of the best creative for some of the best brands in the world. And while great creative is lovely it’s how it’s applied that makes it truly great. Sometimes, as was the case with Dodge Chrysler, the creative increased sales and the pride a rust belt city had for itself. Other times it gave toy makers and shareholders something to believe in as was the case with Mattel’s struggling Fisher-Price brand. And there are even times his great creative transformed a brand from wallpaper into the centerpiece of cultural discussion as was the case with KFC while it continued to sell the same fried chicken.

As much as he’d like to think it was all his failed animation skills that accomplished these great things it was also, and mostly, the great people he partnered with.
